Gary A. Bennett, 2000 Call to the Bar

Gary Bennett practices in the areas of Labour and Employment Law and Civil Litigation. His Labour and Employment law practice includes the following areas: Wrongful Dismissal Litigation; Preparation and Negotiation of Employment Contracts: Preparation of Employee Manuals; Staff Terminations; Judicial Review Applications; Grievance Arbitrations, Collective Bargaining; Ontario Labour Relations Board Applications and Complaints; Human Rights Commission Hearings and Employment Standards Branch Complaints.

Gary attended the University of Western Ontario where he studied Administrative and Commercial Studies and Political Science. Gary earned his first LL.B. from the University of London in England, graduating with honours in 1996. He received his Canadian LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1998. Gary began his legal career with Racioppo Zuber Coetzee Dionne LLP as a summer student in 1996. After completing his Canadian LL.B., he articled and practiced with a large firm in Toronto. In 2002, he re-joined Racioppo Zuber Coetzee Dionne LLP in Mississauga to continue his practice.

Gary’s memberships include The Advocate’s Society, Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the Canadian Bar Association. Gary is an active member of the worship team and soccer program at Kingdom Covenant Ministries. Gary is also a Deacon at Deeper Life Christian Ministries where he oversees an academic mentorship program.
